PL-01, Poland's Stealth Tank prototype project was cooperatively developed under Poland's National Defend and UK's BAE System company.This stealth tank is 35 tons, 7m length, 3.8m wide and 2.8m high. It can carry 3 numbers of soldiers.
PL-01 used Adaptiv technology which enables the tank to avoid from radar detection. The Peltier layer is able to hide the military vehicle from Infrared Sensor by adjust to its surroundings. Day and Night observation technology can be operated 350 degree.
The PL-01 is very efficient with design. It has an auto-loading system in its turret that carries 16 rounds.
The unmanned turret is naturally modular and can allow for different turrets, with different capacities to be interchanged if needed. The PL-01 was designed to field a 105mm or 120mm smooth-bore cannon which can fire sabot, high explosive, or guided missile rounds.
Internally mounted turret right next to the main gun was built in the PL-01 with 7.62mm coaxial gun, in a similar configuration to the Abrams.
The mass production of PL-01 is going to take place in 2018.
